Information we collect

We collect the details you provide when you create an account and when you create a matrimonial profile.

• Account details: your name, mobile number and, if you choose to provide it, your email address.
• Profile details: name, gender, date of birth, caste or community, education, occupation and location.
• Uploaded files: the profile photo and, where you add one, the biodata document.
• Payment records: the amount, status and transaction reference for each activation payment.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain the profiles in your account.
• To verify your identity using a one-time code sent to your mobile number.
• To generate and share biodata when you choose to share it.
• To process activation payments and keep an accurate payment history.
• To show you who has downloaded a profile’s biodata.

What we never do

• We do not publish your mobile number or email address on any profile.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do not store your card or bank details. Payments are handled by the payment provider.

Sharing and visibility

A profile becomes visible to other users only after it has been activated. You control the photo and biodata attached to a profile, and you can replace or remove them at any time.

When another user downloads a profile’s biodata, that download is recorded and shown to you.

Keeping your information

Profile information is kept for as long as the profile exists in your account. Deleting a profile removes its details, photo and biodata. Payment records are retained separately because they form part of your financial history.

Your choices

• You can edit any profile detail at any time.
• You can delete a profile you no longer need.
• You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by contacting support.
